We are writing this letter of endorsement regarding Ed Cummins, but not by any request of his, but because his service to us as a realtor was so extordinary that we felt this type of reference is the least we can do to thank Ed for all that he did for us. To say that Ed went the extra mile and above the call of duty is an understatement. The following list outlines some of the things Ed did for us during the time of our home sale. - Ed counseled us to raise the selling price that we originally had in mind by $15,000 based on his knowledge of the market in our area (Upper Providence). Though we were originally skeptical, our home ended up selling for much more than we anticipated. - He gave us very helpful ideas about curb appeal and repairs that we should make prior to listing along with contractors for the various jobs. We know these ideas helped us get our price. - After the inspectors came through, Ed helped us through what could have been a very complicated situation. - Ed kept in contact with us regularly and always returned calls within hours. - He befriended our family, and was particularly gracious to our children as he sensed the stress they were feeling. Assist-2-Sell’s popular "low fee" concept attracts a high volume of business. While the low fee commission results in significant discounts for the home sellers, continuing to deliver full-service is the key to the company’s success. Consumers want and need the full services of a professional REALTOR®; they just don’t want to pay high commissions. With Assist-2-Sell’s full real estate services and discounted commission rate, those needs are fulfilled.
 

The most obvious difference between Assist-2-Sell and "traditional" real estate companies lies in the commission structure. Traditional firms typically charge home sellers a high commission that is a percentage of the sale price. Assist-2-Sell offices charge a low, flat fee commission.

Increased awareness of "non-traditional" business models, like that of Assist-2-Sell, has spawned a national debate about the differences between "traditional" real estate companies and "discount" real estate companies. People involved in the discussion try to characterize real estate companies as being either "traditional" or "discount." It would be more accurate however, to differentiate using the following three categories:

-Full-Service/High Commission – So-called "traditional" real estate companies
-Full-Service/Discounted Commission – Assist-2-Sell

-Limited Service/Discounted Commission – Real estate companies that offer a "menu of services" or limited service. Fees are charged for the services that are selected, usually, but not always, at a discounted commission.

As a "discount broker," Assist-2-Sell is often inaccurately lumped in with the third category, "Limited Service/Discounted Commission." A key difference between Assist-2-Sell and others in the "discount" real estate space is the level of service we provide. Assist-2-Sell discovered early on that while sellers love the discounted commission, they still need and want full-service. Assist-2-Sell franchise offices are full service real estate brokerages staffed by experienced, licensed real estate professionals who are members of the National Association of REALTORS®, as well as state and local REALTOR associations. They take care of everything home sellers need from a real estate company, but charge a lower commission.
